Fitzroy County Veterinary Surgery was established in rented premises opposite the Foodworks in Fitzroy St, Nanango in August 1994. Veterinarian Kathy Webb, a 1986 QLD Vet School graduate with 7 years local experience, steadily built up a successful sole-practitioner veterinary practice and then moved to premises purchased at the southern end of Fitzroy St in 2000.

The present location at 7 Fitzroy St, Nanango provides ample room for yards, stable, horse crush and float turning facilities as well as a wheelchair ramp entrance and a well-equipped surgery. Tree-shaded car parking is provided within the grounds and the entire area is securely fenced. The surgery 4WD provides a mobile service for property and house calls. All local species of animals are catered for.
