At Fitzroy County Veterinary Surgery, we work with animals and love it...!! We are open Monday through to Saturday mornings during business hours and also provide an out-of-hours service for emergencies.

Our Vet is Kathy Webb, who has over 20 years experience as a veterinarian in the local area having graduated from the University of Qld in 1986. Kathy is ably supported by her staff including Veterinary Nurses Margy and Courtney, who also runs our Puppy Pre-School Classes, and her boys Bruce, James and Ryan.

Our services include Consultations and Diagnostics (including Laboratory, Xray, Ultrasound and Endoscopy), Medical and Surgical Care, Vaccinations, Microchipping, Professional PowerFloating and Dental Services, Bull Breeding Soundness Examinations, Artificial Insemination, Pregnancy testing, Freeze Branding, DNA Certification and On-Property or House-Calls.

Regular attendance at continuing education courses and conferences provides a wealth of up-to-date skills and knowledge which benefits our clients and patients.

Our facilities at the surgery include a horse crush, stable and yard. A ramp designed for wheelchairs accesses our premises.

The nursing staff also provide Hydrobaths and Grooming Services on site. Ask for our Loyalty Card.

Kathy is based at the Surgery but can be out on calls to properties or homes in her well-equipped 4WD Vet Vehicle. We also make monthly visits to Yarraman and Blackbutt as well as regular runs through the Cooyar District so make sure to call for an appointment, or just drop in to say hello and check out our range of pet merchandise and products.
